To those who have recently joined us at Best Trade Bid as suppliers in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania. Welcome. Some of you are expecting leads to come in continuously. We would love to be able to send out hundreds of leads every day to all types of service providers, but the reality is not quite like that yet, so be patient leads will come your way. The great advantage for you as a member is that it doesn’t cost you a cent to get a lead notification. We look forward to providing you with many leads over the years to come. You are helping yourself as you tell others about our service. If you want fliers to pass on to other businesses just drop us a note through our “contact us” page and we’ll get some to you. Be sure to update your business profile occasionally to make sure it’s current and relevant. We’re working on making it easier to fill in the regions that you service amongst other things to make setting up your business profile easier.
We think that is fair and affordable that a qualified lead only cost you one lead credit when you get the full contact details of the buyer. Beware; those with “express leads” might get to the buyer first. They get the all the job and contact details immediately it is submitted by the client. Buyers love a speedy response to their request and respect the businesses that are proficient in their approach. Soon we’ll announce an additional benefit for those businesses that have chosen “express leads”. We are in negotiations at the moment, so as soon as it is finalized we’ll let you know what it is. It will put you one step ahead of your competition.
Australia is a vast area to cover and we want to cover it all with suppliers of all types of services, so when a request comes in we can match it with a provider in the region. There are so many areas that aren’t covered yet by any services the sooner businesses get on board the better, because we will more than likely limited the number of service providers in post codes where there are multiple providers. We are currently looking for suppliers in all suburbs throughout Australia. Carpenters, Cabinet makers, Concrete contractors, Carpet layers, Painters, Landscapers, Bricklayers, Plasterers, Glaziers, Plumbers, Insulation specialists, Tutors, etc… Being only a new service we are relying on word of mouth and “Google adwords” at the moment. Larger promotional campaigns will come as we grow. As many of you are aware the cost of marketing something Australia wide is astronomical. So we have to take it in bite size pieces. We really appreciate anyone who helps promote Best Trade Bid and down the track we will introduce an affiliate program, so those who help us in this way can reap a financial benefit.
Notice we have changed the look of the home page. We hope it makes it easier to use for first time visitors and of course it’s easy to follow once you log in for existing members. We are still working on improvements to the functionality of the site. We have had a couple of glitches in the system but Michael has been right onto it and rewritten sections of the program to prevent them happening again.
