Return to Best Trade Bid

Welcome to 2011

I’m sure over the holiday break, we have all had a bit of time to reflect and dream about making either small or big changes to various ways we operate our businesses. As we all look towards the year ahead and make our plans to move towards a better place in our particular field of expertise and market share, inevitably the unexpected arrives to bring us new challenges, forcing us to change, giving us the opportunity to navigate uncharted waters, gaining new, and otherwise unknown experiences. We at Best Trade Bid, wish you the joy of success in 2011.

When we look back at where we have come from to where we are now, we are reminded of the good things that have come from the small seed of thought that was put into action. Dare to dream big, visualize the end before you start to plan the approach, always keeping the goal in view, remain focused, and don’t let the side tracks become the main road.

The floods

So far this year has been a disaster for many people in Central Queensland. The record floods have devastated many homes and have placed people in the position of having to start all over again, having lost everything. Many businesses have suffering with the doors being closed to customers, flood waters inundating their premises destroying expensive stock, which won’t be covered by insurance. My prayers go to those people who have been displaced from their homes, and will have their livelihoods and businesses destroyed. The spinoff is felt throughout the whole region, as the domino effect hits the business community and jobs are lost. We only see a few in comparison to the majority who are really suffering. We will do what we can to help alleviate some of the pain through personal donations to individuals that we know have suffered.

Good news

We have reviewed our pricing, and have decided to keep the lead prices at the same rate. Although prices everywhere have risen, and it’s harder to make a living. We are trying to do our bit to keep inflation at bay. We can’t offer any further discount on lead credits, other than the discounts for larger quantities, but we can suggest that if you become an affiliate, the cost of leads can be offset by introducing other businesses to Best Trade Bid. We are offering 50 cents for every time some new person clicks on your link, and 30% of all sales your referred businesses purchases for life. It’s free to join our affiliate program and the reporting and control you have is fantastic. Click here for more details.

My personal goal

I’m continuing this year to continue bringing a free practical help for buyers finding suppliers for their projects, and a simple, fair and affordable way for businesses to gain new clients without all the bells and whistles. My system is the silent marketer for your business. So much was achieved in the past year as the site had the “Affiliate program” and “Bargain Bay” added, thanks to the generous help of Richard, who is a great believer in the system. We can now give members fresh opportunities to save, or make money. I have so much more I want to be able to do to make this site really worthwhile visiting on a regular basis, and that is all part of the long-term goal. Yes I’m still aiming towards taking the system internationally. I have no doubt that over time expansion will be achieved. If anyone would like to help towards the expansion of this system feel free to contact me.

I will Endeavor to personally contact all our registered business owners by phone this year to confirm their details are up to date and relevant. I can’t stress enough the importance of up to date info. We can’t match new clients to your business if we don’t have your correct email, your scopes and regions of service. Previously if your email details were correct, you would have received correspondence from me at Best Trade Bid. A few of the emails have come back unopened or haven’t even reached the addresses given to us. We don’t want you to miss out on the action, so I’ll be in touch by phone. If you have Skype and want to contact me the Skype name is “myglazit” I’d be happy to add you to my contacts.

If you have a Facebook profile, you can become a fan of Best Trade Bid and make comments. I love feedback. I don’t want to be mysterious, or a nameless face hidden amongst a list of company directors. I am a real person, ready to communicate. If you have fresh ideas on improving Best Trade Bid, I’m happy to listen, or explain why the business runs the way it does.

In closing, I want to encourage you to take the calculated risks, live on the edge, because if you’re not on the edge you’re taking up too much room. Make 2011 your best year ever.
